Service Description

ASA 103, Coastal Cruising ​    Learn to skipper a sloop-rigged keelboat of approximately 25 to 35 feet in length by day and night in moderate to heavy  winds (up to 25 knots) and sea conditions. We will build on the knowledge from the 101 class.  There are two options for this class depending on your schedule.  We can either  break up the course into short 2.5 hour sessions, or  the cruise option  where we plan and execute a daylong cruise.    Whichever option you choose, we will hit all the goals of the 103 class.  You will learn : advanced sail trim handling emergencies, anchoring  under power and sail basic navigation and more!   Its a 12 hour course taught in four sessions that will teach you all the fundamentals of sailing. It has classroom and on the water components. ​
